EZ Shield
For 3 cents per check, you can add fraud protection to personal or business checks. If your checking account suffers a loss due to fraud, the account is protected up to $25,000. Benefits include:

EZ Shield Plus
For $9.95 per order, you can add fraud protection and identity restoration protection to the basic EZ Shield protection. This service offers a comprehensive, proactive strategy to protect your identity. If your identity is breached, EZ Shield offers a full complement of services to restore your identity. To protect your identity, benefits include:
- Encryption of personal information, documents and images.
- Password management in one secure location.

Further, you will receive a one-time scan of black-market chat rooms to determine if any of your personal information has been compromised.
In the event of fraud or identity theft, EZ Shield Plus offers a U.S.-based, dedicated certified resolution specialist who will work with you and manage the process of restoring your identity. Help is available 24/7 from live technical support and from 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday, from your dedicated resolution specialist.

Norton Shopping Guarantee
CheckWorks has partnered with Norton to provide additional protection to CheckWorks customers. The free service is available to anyone who purchases any product or service from CheckWorks online. Benefits include:
- $10,000 in identity theft protection: If your identity is stolen—anywhere, not just on the CheckWorks site—you’ll receive access to identity recovery services, including expense reimbursement up to $10,000 for costs such as attorney fees, removing criminal judgments and disputing credit reports.
- $1,000 purchase guarantee: If you don’t receive what you ordered, Norton Shopping Guarantee determines if you are due a refund and you can receive a refund of up to $1,000.
- $100 lowest price guarantee: When you purchase anything from CheckWorks, you’ll receive up to $100 in the difference between the original price and lower price if the price drops after you place your order.
